Butterscotch No-Bake Cookies

Makes about 5 dozen.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) margarine
  • one 5 1/3 oz. can evaporated milk
  • one 4 oz. pkg. instant butterscotch pudding & pie filling mix
  • 3 1/2 cups quick cooking oats

Directions:

  • In a large pan, combine sugar, margarine, evaporated milk.
  • Bring mixture to boil, stirring frequently.
  • Remove pan from heat, add instant pudding mix, oats.
  • Mix well, cool 15 minutes.
  • Drop by tsp. onto waxed paper.
  • Let cookies cool.
  • Store in a covered container in refrigerator.
